A thoughtful gift several years ago from Mrs. Lugnuts has spawned an insatiable addiction for model cars; I'm being driven to the poorhouse! Around here, racing cars rule, thus one will never find a street going vehicle on display at my place. The same can be said for any NASCAR taxicab. Real racing cars only! The more glorious the history, the better! 1:18 is the preferred scale, though a few 1:43's are around as well. The 1:18's offer better detail than the smaller scale, yet aren't too big to display, though the price can sometimes become a cause for concern. There's no doubt that the following photos will clearly illustrate where my interests lie. As funds permit, additional cars are added, always with their personal appeal being the more important factor for buying, rather than their potential value.
