total spent: $______________       tie breaker: ____.____%       substitute: ______________

1. Choose as many or as few drivers as you like. Do not exceed $6,000,000. Contestants are encouraged to spend their entire budget; no credit will be given for any money unspent.

2. Select an additional driver from the $500,000 group, to be used as a substitute. The substitute driver will be used ONLY when a driver from those already chosen becomes unavailable, and a replacement has not been assigned and/or the car has been withdrawn. Once the race itself begins (the race shall be considered to have begun once the cars roll off for their pace laps), there will be no further substitutions.

3. For the purposes of this pool, all points shall be considered to be scored by the car, not the driver.

4. Pool points will be paid exactly as in CART. See points sheet.

5. Tie breaker: pick a number, between one (1) and one hundred (100) to the second decimal place (e.g. 43.76) to be expressed as a percentage. In the event of a tie, this number will be applied to the driver who leads the most laps during the race in question. The player whose tiebreaker is closer or closest to the actual percentage of most laps led shall be declared the winner. An example: Homer's tiebreaker is 49.99, while Bart's TB is 62.25. Wheels Axlerod led the most laps, a total of 70 of 100, or 70.00%. Thus, Bart is the winner, and Homer gets nothing. D'oh! If you fail to include a tiebreaker, one will be randomly selected for you.

6. Mid season fire sale! Following the ninth event of the season at Cleveland, July 14, 2002, each contestant may, at his option, trade ONE driver from any group, for a driver or drivers of equal value from any group(s). See original 2002 groupings. If one opts to trade a driver, the contestant shall keep all points that driver has earned to this point. Any points already accumulated by the new driver(s) will not count towards the contestant's total. All points scored by the new driver(s) following the trade will count. Trades must be submitted no later than 11:59pm, Thursday, July 25, 2002. This is entirely optional, without cost or penalty.

7. Each player will purchase the winning player a drink (his/her usual drink; if you don't care for this rule, do not enter the pool) following each race. The season champion will also receive a drink from each player. Contestants are expected to be prompt with their payment; within one week of any given race is an acceptable guideline.

8. Once picks are submitted they are considered final and are not available for change.

9. In the event of any dispute regarding an entry or eligibility for winnings, the decision of Johnny and Ralph will be final and binding.

10. International competition and lottery laws vary and it is the responsibility of participants to ensure that they understand and comply fully with any laws or regulations relevant to themselves in their own country, particularly where tax and age restrictions apply.

I have read the rules and agree to abide by them or I will be taken out to the parking lot to be beaten.
