Thanks to Michel Delplace from the French GPL League, who has generously submitted these old photographs of Rouen, thought to be taken around 1967 or 1968.

The vantage point is obvious in this grand old shot. A pack of saloon cars roars by the pits, approaching the very quick first turn.

Formula cars on the run from Six Frères to the hairpin.

Close racing through the Nouveau Monde hairpin.

A huge crowd enjoys the action at the Noveau Monde hairpin.

If you're ever unsure from where to watch a race, go where the photographers hang out.
This photo is thought to be of the Reims circuit's start/finish line area.

Three photos pasted together produce an interesting panorama.
