News: August 3, 2008 It has come to my attention that these slot car guard rail signs are being sold on eBay by a third party. The sale of these signs is unauthorized and an infringement of copyright. I offer the signs for free download only at www.lugnutsracing.com. Any individual is welcome to download the signs for one's own personal use as often as one wishes, always free of any charge. I created the artwork for fun and as a small contribution to the slot car community.
If you have paid for this artwork, you have been ripped off. If you have acquired the signs from anywhere other than www.lugnutsracing.com, or have paid for them, please contact me.
Here's
a download for all you 1/32 slot car geeks! (Just like
me.) While combing the 'net for banners to print for use as guard
rail signs, I was unable to find anything suitable. Thus, I took
upon the task to make 'em myself. Ten
separate files
are available,
each ready to print at 300ppi, with the final product measuring
about ten inches long by ¾" high (that works out to
a whopping 3100 x 225 pixels!). The files are somewhat hefty at
about 2.0mb each, but are good quality. Each sheet will print
eight strips, which should then be cut into individual pieces.
down preview of each file.
If applying to a smooth, flat surface, slick and professional
results can be obtained using 8½"x11" self adhesive,
or "sticker" paper. Set your printer for "matte
heavyweight paper" at the highest quality. If applying to
an irregular surface, for example a guard rail, use plain heavyweight
paper. Affix using a spray on adheshive, such as Elmers's
Spray Adhesive, (part #61451 in Canada, #E451 in the U.S.A.).
More permanent results can be had by using two way foam tape,
also known as mounting tape. Click on each image below to download
the respective .zip file or download the all-in-one MegaBanner®
.zip file.
